Bloomin' Beautiful and BLOG CANDY!!!

First- I made this simple card with my new Bloomin' Beautiful set from the mini catalog. The card is 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 (again). This is my new favorite size for a card!! The base is chocolate chip and then the DP is from Afternoon Tea. I stamped the image on watercolor paper in stazon ink and then colored it with my blender pen and these inks: Soft Sky, Blue Bayou, Wild Wasabi, River Rock and Going Gray Gray. I mounted the flowers on to a piece of Blue Bayou and added a little Blue Bayou double stitched ribbon. It was done in about 10 minutes!
Now on to the blog candy!!! Thank you so much for helping me to celebrate my one year SU anniversary! All of your comments this month have been so sweet and motivating! I am always looking forward to hearing from you!!
Anyway here is what you could win this week:
- An SEI scrapbook in a bag kit (Doodley Doo)
This kit includes everything you need to make an 8x8 scrapbook including: the album, precut paper, stickers, tags, brads, ribbons, and step-by-step instructions. It only takes about an hour to put together the 17 layouts!
-you will also win the SEI 2008 scrapbook calendat kit. This kit includes everything that you need to make a 12 layout calendar: instructions, ribbon, brads, stickers, etc. Plus when the year is over- you can just slip the layouts into an album and have a great year-in-review scrapbook for yourself or to give as a Christmas gift!
All you have to do to win these 2 kits is leave a comment on this post telling me what type of stamp set you would design if you were one of the designers for Stampin' Up!
If I were a designer, these are some of the sets I would make: an ice cream set, a desert set with cactus, and a set with different professions (ie, doctor, police, fireman, teacher, etc.). So let's hear some of your ideas!
I will use random.org to choose a winner on Monday night! Have an awesome weekend!

I would design a set of runners-male and female with quote stamps relating to running that are not cheesy like JUst do it-no never. or dumb like that too. there are way cool quotes out there that few know about. but I need some runner stamps big time.

I think SU does a good job with flowers and cute animals and stuff. I would probably like some secretarial or office humor type stamps.

OMG I love the ideas from jan, m.h. & Jan. Runners, office humor and star wars...terrific. I'd like to see some motorcycle (biker) stamps. Something with flames and choppers, tatoos, etc. A bunch of us ride bikes and I'd love to scrap some get-togethers or poker runs. Thanks for offering the great candy.

Realistic animals and scenery. More in the line drawing style so I could do lots of coloring and shading!

wow!!! another fantastic blog candy!!! i would say that if i were to design stamps for stampin' up! i would design somthing cute for little girls that aren't flowers or that huge crown that we are offered right now, an awesome cupcake set (like hero arts has now....lots of tops and bottoms to mix and match), and more border type stamps that coordinate with punches. i definitely agree with you on the ice cream set...how great would that be??? that would be about it, at least that is all i can think of now.....

I am very partial to flourishes---to use as backgrounds because I can use them on cards and also on scrapbook pages.

Jamie,
You bring so much fun to my day every time I check your blog! Your great ideas, down to earth personality, adorable kids, and fun, fun blog candy keep busy moms that love SU (like me) coming back for more! I have to tell you that there are 17 blogs that I read (when I get a few minutes to myself) and you are #1 on my list!
I would love to see SU come up sports stamps that tend to be more feminine, like gymnastics and volleyball, and something besides ballet, like jazz, tap, etc. Little girls love princess crowns, angels, and makeup, but they also are good at sports! (As my 6 year old is the first to let her two big brothers know!)
Thanks for making my Monday back to work after Spring Break not as bad as it would have been without having a blog candy opportunity to look forward to! :)

I would design a stamp set that is all penguins. We have one cute penguin in the Punch Pals... but that's it. I want a stamp set that is all penguins. We have so many snowmen!!! And this set wouldn't be necessarily Christmasy. (Think Happy Feet or March of the Penguins)-Whit L.
