I decided to make his teacher, Susan, and her dog, Maggie, a little gift from Cooper. So I put some doggie treats in a glass jar (from Ikea) and made a tag for it. I also made a matching card. But here is your warning.....these stamps are not Stampin' Up! I NEEDED a doggie set and so I got this set by Hero Arts at a scrapbook store. It is clear and I am not a big fan because the quality of the images is not as good as with rubber stamps. But Susan and Maggie liked their gift and that is all that mattered!I have been going to town making things in my scrapbook room this week. I am getting ready for a fundraiser for a local Children's Hopital. I will show you what I have been making when I get a chance to take some pictures!

Do you love the clouds in the sky? I made those with a sponge, Baja Breeze ink and a scrap punched with the scallop circle punch as a mask. I love the way it turned out.
Yum! Don't you love the new Kiwi Kiss striped ribbon?!
This is what it looks like after you untie the ribbon and open the folder. Inside, I have post-card type cards and some envelopes.
You could embellish these more- but my time was limited. It took about 10 minutes to complete the entire project!!!
When you push the belly band down, the envelope opens. Aren't those scallops adorable?! And the die cut machine didi it all for me!!! Even the scoring!
I think that this would be so cute on a gift bag or wrapped package! I can't wait to make a bunch of them to put on my holoiday gifts!
I just wanted to post a congrats to one the sweet gals in my downline, Kati Kimball. She gave birth to twin girls two days ago. They are both over 6 pounds and everyone is doing great!!
Class participants will be making a box and four standard sized cards to go in the box using the new in colors, new DSP, new satin ribbon, and new stamps!!
You will make 2 of each of these cards.
Aren't they pretty. This new style watch is one of my very favorites!!!!

That is my dad in the cocunut bra and my hubby in the grass skirt! I had to scrap these pics so that I had a reason to post them on my blog again!!! Isn't my dad silly? If you have been reading my blog long then you know that is not the first time I have used "Goofy Stuff" as a title for a page about him! I used the stamp from the set "Smarty Pants" and it says "You are never to old to do Goofy Stuff."
My order from the new catalog is scheduled to arrive today!!! In fact it has been "out for delivery for 2 hours and 12 minutes. So if you see a crazy lady chasing a UPS truck today- then wave! It's probably me!!!

Here is Makenzie playing at the mall play area. It isooo hot out that we had to go to the mall to stay cool!
And here is Danika with dinner all over her face!
And - Kyler. He would not smile! I love the ice cream on his lips!!!
And here are the three "big" kids outside the movie theater yesterday afternoon. Yes- I took my camera to the movie! And I took LOTS of pics!
I will have to post some pics of Laynee tomorrow. I didn't realize that I hadn't uploaded any pics of her today.

I just love this size for a card! I was able to use some scraps of DSP! And the only part that took very long was waiting for the ribbon to dry! Don't forget that simple can be beautiful!!!
