Snowman Gift Tag

Happy Decmeber!

I sure do love the Holiday Line Up stamp set!!! Last week I was playing around with it and colored the snowman image with my aquapainter and some inks on watercolor paper. When I was done coloring- I decided to turn it into a fun gift tag!

I just added a jumbo eyelet with my Crop-a-dile and then some of the Rope Twine from the Holiday Mini. I used a Black Stampin' Write Marker to write the to and from on the tag.

I think that a hand stamped tag will make any gift more memorable!

Today is your last chance to take advantage of the Holiday Extravaganza sale. Check my post below for more info!

Christmas Clipboard

I have just a quick post for you today. I am actually leaving to drop kids off with grandparents and then go to a nice hotel in Scottsdale with my hubby!!! We will be celebating our 6th wedding anniversary tomorrow!

On to the stamping. I mad this cute clipboard photo frame quite a while back. It is sitting in my stamp room and I smile everytime I se my daughter's sweet smile!!!

I got this clipboard for $1 at an office supply store and then just covered it with cardstock and some patterned paper from the Ski Slope Designer Series Paper pack. I added some ribbon and a Baja Breeze tab made with the punch. But my favorite part of the project (besides the sweet picture) is the hat pin with pearls that I got from the Pretties kit.

I have my clipboard frame displayed with a decorative plate holder. I can change the clipboard each season!!! This is a fun part of my holiday decor and a fabulous gift as well!

Don't forget about the Holiday Extravaganza sale!!! I would hate for you to miss the opportunity to get some of your favorite stamp sets at 20-50% off!!! Click HERE for more details.

Christmas Mini Album

And when I say "Mini," I mean mini!!!! I actually have a cute little name badge album to show you today. Can you believe that up until about a week ago- I didn't have any pictures of my family in my purse?! After we gor out Christmas pictures taken this year- my first project was to make a little album to store the pictures safely in my purse.

This is the front. Can you see the cute little rub ons?!

Here are the inside pages...

Pretty simple, huh? I just got these name badge holders at an office supply store. That is also where I got the jump rings. I used one jump ring to hold the name badges together and then embelished the jump ring with lots of ribbon. Since the picture were so cute on their own- I didn't want to use too many busy elements like patterned paper. So I just used some of the white rub ons from the Word Flurries pack. They added just the right embelishment!!!

Don't forget that the rub on special only lasts until Sunday! Click HERE to see more info about all the mazing promotions that will be coming to an end soon, including the amazing Holiday Extravaganza sale.

Happy holiday shopping!

Perfect

Scott and I took the kids to the pumpkin patch last month and we had such a good time! I just printed the pictures so I thought I would work on getting some of them in the kids' albums. Here is the layout I made for my son's album...

It is a super simple layout!!! But it's a 2 pager (for those that insist on only making 2 pagers!) and it has 8 pictures!!! I had planned on stamping some more embelishments- but they just didn't seem to fit. So I just added a few brads to each page and called it done! Sometimes simple is exactly what you need!

Recipe:

Stamps: Well Worn Alphabet

Paper: Frost Day Designer Series Paper, Chocolate Chip, Whisper White, Kiwi Kiss

Elegant Snow Swirled

A couple days ago I told you that my two favorite Christmas stamp sets are Snow Swirled and Hliday Line Up. So today I have a snow swirled card that is super simple!!! You can make this lots of this one in no time and your friends and family would love it! And can you belive that it has NO RIBBON!!!!

This project was inspired from a group of different cards in the Splitcoast gallery. This picture does not really do the card justice! The snowflakes are stamped in Old Olive, Night of Navy and Elegant Eggplant. Then the Whisper White is mounted on a piece of Elegant Eggplant and then a piece of Old Olive. And the sentiment is from the same set! I love that!!!

You still have time to order stamp supplies to make holiday cards and gifts! But don't wait any longer! Email me today or go to my Stampin Up website to place your order! In about a week- you will have your supplies at your door!

The Snowman Line Up

What are your favorite Christmas stamp sets this year? Mine are Snow Swirled and Holiday Line Up!!! And today I have a fun card using the snowmen from Holiday Line Up!

Here is the insert...

I usedTHIS tutorial on Splitcoast Stampers to make my Criss Cross card. The snowmen were stamped in Basic Black ink on Whisper White cardstock and then I used various Stampin' Write markers to color them in. And by the way- I did not sew that button. I have no idea what to do with a needle and thread. I just put a thin strip of cardtsock through the holes and then attached the button with a glue dot.

Recipe:

Stamps: Holiday Line Up, Many Merry Messages

Paper: Frosty Day, Bashful Blue, Old Olive, Whisper White

Ink: Basic Black, Old Olive

Other: Bashful Blue Buttong, Tangerine Tango Striped Ribbon, Stampin Write markers, Tab Punch

Someone recently asked me for close up photos of the cards that were part of my Holiday Line Up class. Sorry- I didn't realize that I hadn't posted pictures of just the cards! So here they are...

a Borrowed Scrapbook page!

I was so busy writing tutorials for my newsletters that I forgot to take pictures of the project I was going to show you today!!! But no fear- I have a sweet scrapbook layout to show you that my upline, Amy, made as one of our make and takes at our booth at the Creating Keepsakes convention in September. She was kind enough to let me share- again!

The layout size is 6x6 which is perfect for displaying on your counter as part of your holiday decor!

That big scallop picture mat was made with the Big Shot Die Cut Machine and one of the dies! Cool huh? And the stamp set that she used is called Snow Burst. The colors are Real Red, Old Olive, and More Mustard.

And isn't her family adorable?!!!

I'll be back tomorrow!

Simple Christmas Card!!!

Have you decided on a design for your Christmas cards? If you have- then you are one step ahead of me!!! And if you are starting to wonder if you are going to have time to hand make your cards- then this card is just for you...

It's very simple!!! But it is still much cuter than any store bought card, right?

I have seen lots of cards in the Splitcoast Gallery like this one and so I finally jumped on the band wagon and made one too!

The "ornament" is just a 1 3/4 circle punched out of the Ski Slope Designer Series Paper. I drew the "String" with a black marker. I tied a bow with the Red Gingham ribbon and adhered to to the card with a glue dot. The sentiment was stamped in black and then I took a blender pen- dipped it in Real Red ink- and lightly ran it over the words "Merry Christmas."  Done!!!

I hope that you enjoy! I have a lot of stamping to get done today! I have a tough job, huh?!

See you tomorrow!

Counting My Blessings

This picture right here pretty much sums up my greatest blessings!!!

We had our annual family Christmas pictures taken on Friday! You can see more of the pictures on my family blog by clicking HERE if you want to.

But on to the stamping...

This is the 2 page scrapbook layout that my clubs will be making this week....

Big Shot Die Cut Machine Scrapbook Layout

The Very Vanilla cardstock is just a place maker for my pictures. I want to use some pictures from Thanksgiving on this layout but I wanted my club gals to get an idea of what I was thinking when designing it.

Here is the first page...

And here is the 2nd page...

Let me give you some close ups...

Big Shot Die Cut Machine Title

I used my Big Shot Die Cut Machine with the top note die to create that fun shape for the first part of the title!

On the journaling strips I listed my top 5 blessings. Each of these blessings will coordinate with one of the pictures on the layout and that is why I punch a small circle of pumpkin pie cardstock and put numbers next to the photos!!!

Now I told you I love that stamp set Best Wishes & More when I used it on Friday- so you had to know you would be seeing it again!!!

So can you believe that I made a scrapbook layout without any ribbon and without using any Old Olive?!! I think it might be a first!

I hope the gals in my club will love the layout!!! If you are interested in getting more info on my scrapbook club please send me an email: sears1130@cox.net

Recipe:

Stamps: Best Wishes & More, Taffy Alphabet, Typeset Alphabet Lower

Paper: Chocolate Chip Designer Series Paper, Always Artichoke, Very Vanilla, Pumpkin Pie, Chocolate Chip

Ink: Chocolate Chip, Always Artichoke, Pumpkin Pie

Other: Big Shot Die Cut Machine, Top Note Die, 1/2 inch circle punch

Let the Patterned Paper do the Talking!

Here is the most simple card I have ever made....

But it's cute, isn't it?!

I love that it is just one piece of patterned paper! Stampin' Up! now carries several different paper packs that have paper like this which looks like strips of several different pieces of paper.

All I did on this on was mount the patterned paper onto some old Olive cardstock and then onto the White Card Base. I added some Old Olive ribbon and a rub on sentiment. Don't forget about the rub on special that is going on until the end of this month!!!

Rub On Ornament

I have been sick all week and so not much stamping has been happening : (  But I do have a quick project to show you that I made last week with rub ons.

I got these clear ornaments from Michael's and they are very inexpensive! I decorated the outside with a rub on from the Word Flurries pack. The inside is decorated with pieces of Ridinghood Red and Baja Breeze ribbon. I think this would be a fun project to do with the kids! And it would be a great gift to give their teachers and grandparents!

Plus, rub ons are on sale right now!!! Click HERE for more details!

I still have a sinus headache, but hopefully I can get some stamping in today.....

See you tomorow!

Monogram Note Cards and Folder

I am just addicted to making these cute folders that hold note cards. I first learned how to make them from a fellow Stampin' Up! demonstrator, Dannie, but have made some changes to mak them work better for me. Don't you think that they make a great gift?!

Here is the view from the inside...

I made these one for a craft fair and I personalized the notecards when someone bought one with the letter of their choice.

Here is a better look at the notecard...

I kept it nice and simple since I was mass producing them!

The letter is from the set Lovely Letters and I got it for FREE!!! I won a recruiting contest that Stampin' Up! had for their demonstrators and so I got to pick any stamp set I wanted. I have wanted this set since it first came out so I am very excited to add it to my collection!  I love being a demonstrator! It is such a fabulous company to work with!

If you are coming to my Holiday Line Up class next week- you will be making one of these folders!!! And everyone on my email list will get instructions next week!

Snow Swirled Plate

Do you remember the Halloween plate that I showed you in THIS post? Well I took the Halloween paper off and put the Christmas one on today. Guess I should have made a Thanksgiving one, huh?!!

I think I am going to leave mine as a decoration for the holidays- but it would also be cute if you put the paper on the bottom of the plate (with glue dots) and put cookies on the plate for neighbors or co-workers.

I am not feeling well and so I am keeping this very short today. I have some monogram note cards to show you tomorrow!

Stamps: Snow Swirled

Paper: Holiday Treasures, Ridinghood Red, and Whisper White

Ink: Old Olice, Ridinghood Red

Other: Ridinghood Red Tafeta Ribbon
