Today, my sweet twin girls turned 5! My kids' birthdays are always bitter sweet for me. I am happy to spoil them, celebrate and see their smiles but I don't want them to grow up!!!! They are my babies!!!! Just look at how sweet they were...
and still are.....
So between the first day of school craziness, shopping, wrapping, baking 4 dozen cupcakes for their classes and entertaining these munchkins, I have had NO time to stamp. It's killing me!!!!
But don't get too worried because I still have one last card to show you that I made last week...
I like the clean look of the bright birthday banner on the white cardstock...
I CASED the card from one I saw on the front cover of Card Style magazine. I just hand drew a pennent shape on the cardstock and then traced it a few more times. That silver cord was super hard to work with!!!! In the future I would use colored floss or string. So much easier!
I am off to get some shut eye so I am ready (as I will ever be) for a 5 year old birthday party tomorrow! Thanks for stopping by!

So sweet. I have always loved your work. I haven't been on your site for a looooong time. Very excited to see you joined Stampin' Up! again. Congrats. How could you pass up that deal! Have a great day.
i know EXACTLY how you feel.....
my only daughter turned 5 the 29th of July. i am not sure why i had such a hard time with "5" but i did. i notice everyday how much she really is growing up. not to mention kindergarten in the fall.......
Seems like just yesterday my babies were turning 5. My youngest is 15 and a sophomore in HS. My oldest just turned 17 and a Senior. I'm already crying thinking of graduation in 10 months! The years go by faster each year.
Happy B'day to your girls. They always look so cute. Did you make their outfits ??
